BeefLink™
BeefLink™ is PC-based data collection and management system. This
powerful data collection software can be used in the field to capture
and store data automatically from RFID and barcode tags, scales and
other devices, in real time. RFID readers such as the rugged
TagTracker™ are used to capture and send RFID data to
BeefLink™.
Scales, scanners and thermometers are connected directly to the computer
and are configured to automatically upload data into Beeflink™.
The software is designed as a hands-off system, removing the need to
enter data using a keyboard. An audio function informs the operator of
data collected through speakers or via wireless headsets.
Producers of all segments of an industry can customize a regimen or
set of events that will be repeated on every unit. This feature
eliminates manual data entry and allows customers to move quickly
through their regular processing routines. Individual events can also be
added to an individual unit record in the field.
When collecting livestock data, BeefLink™ can automatically
calculate
Average Daily Gain or
Week to Ship for individual animals.
Data collected and stored with BeefLink™ can be viewed and analyzed
with AgInfoReports™, a standard reporting system installed with BeefLink™.
In addition, the AgInfoLink technical staff is available to develop
customized reports using the AgInfoSheets™ reporting system.
